Weekly Reflection 😃
Hi,
This week we have been learning to write persuasive arguments. Here is an example...
This week is the best week ever because..........

This week is the best week ever because..........
- I really am enjoying athletics training unfortunately I won't be there on Athletics day. I have got a Special Choir practice on the same day.
- My second reason is that I had a lot of fun doing the fruit of the year speech. The aim was to convince people that your fruit was the best. My groups fruit was Pineapple and in the end, our speech was third place which I wasn't expecting at all.
- Lastly, Christchurch had hot sunny weather for most of the week. I am excited for the weather to get summer hot because I feel really cold sometimes!
Therefore, you must believe me when I say that I've had the BEST WEEK EVER!

Weekly Reflection
Hi.
This week what went well is High Jump.
It would be even better if I wasn't afraid that I'd knock down the bar.

Weekly Reflection 😃
Ramere 14 Mahuru
Kia ora ki te katoa!
This week it is Maori language week so we have been learning lots of Maori words. It also is social justice week so we have been talking and learning about unique people.
Hurricane Florence is coming to America, so we have been watching what is happening where the hurricane is currently. I hope that everyone who lives in the area can stay safe.
This week Christchurch has got beautiful weather, all sunny and warm.
I wonder how many people could die from Hurricane Florence
I learned Mean, Median,Mode and Range during our Statistics units in Maths.

This week the work in R.E was interesting because I found out about some things that I didn't know.
On Monday, we took a picture of all the cans that were given to us for Wattie's Cans For Good.

Week 4 Reflection
FRIDAY 17 AUGUST
Hi everyone!
This week was the Teachers strike on Wednesday, so the school was shut. I went to the strike, and it was sort of interesting.
On Thursday, we had our Feast day Mass celebrating the assumption of Mary and afterward, we got chocolate chip cookies.
Next week we are planning our own information reports, and I am going to do mine about The Titanic, I am currently finding information about the boat.
Yesterday it was the last game of winter sports. We were playing against Thorrington A, and they bet us, with a score of 13-5.

Week 3 Refection
Friday 10 August
Hello!
This week for winter sports, I had a bye at netball. But luckily, another Year 5/6
team had a bye as well, so we played netball against each other. My team won, with a score of 10-5.
I also have written a information report on what we learned at Ferrymead about the 1950's-1960's with Jess. We are currently copying it down on a Google Doc.
For maths this week, Room 5 was learning about working backwards as well as Guess and Check with Mr Koorey when solving problems.
